Bond It Flash Mate Lead Sealant a Fast Skinning Low modulus neutral cure that's been created to give exceptional adhesion to soft metals such as lead and brass without Damage
Specially formulated as an alternative to mortaring Lead Flashing and Sheet into Masonry, reduces weather ingression, tile lift and noise, tough, resilient and compatible with lead.
Can be applied using a standard size sealant gun.
Flash Mate Sealant is a low modulus, neutral cure sealant specifically designed to give exceptional adhesion to soft metals such as lead, brass, copper and zinc etc.
Can be used to bond glass and glazing plastics as well as small sections of roofing materials under repair. Ideally suited for sealing roof-lights, conservatives, soffits, glass house, industrial roofing systems, lead flashings and to prevent tile lifting and wind noise. Also has excellent UV, heat and ozone resistance and sets to a tough, resilient rubber seal. Also suitable for use on metals, concrete, mortar and plaster.
Lead grey in colour has high and low temperature resistance and excellent weathering properties make it incredibly useful and easy to work with compared to other sealing methods.
Apply using a sealant applicator caulk sealant gun.

Lead mate uses
It is ideal for use on glass, slate, all metals including lead and galvanised steel, concrete and brick, GRP, sealed timber, plastics including polycarbonate, acrylics, PVCu and all painted surfaces
As an alternative to mortaring in Lead flashing and sheet into brick, stone concrete and Metal.
Suitable as an expansion joint sealant.
When re-sealing lead make sure all old sealants are removed completely and any green mould or moss is treated with Bond It Mould Stop.
Weather sealing and joint sealing to pre-formed panels.
Sealing soft metals such as lead copper & zinc.
Parapet and roof weather sealing applications.
