Product Description and Benefits Everbuild Everflex Grey Lead Mate Sealant comes in C3 standard cartridges that fit a standard size sealant gun.
Low modulus with a Neutral Cure, Stays Flexible were Mortar will not. Designed to give exceptional adhesion to soft metals such as lead and brass without Damage.
Specially formulated as an alternative to mortaring Lead Flashing and Sheet
into Masonry surfaces.
Excellent adhesion to metals.
Solvent free.
low shrinkage.
High resistance to plasticizer migration.
May be used over water based and solvent based paints.
Excellent external weathering properties.
Low dirt pick up
Excellent flexibility + to - 50%.
Excellent low & high temperature resistance + 150 Deg C
Leadmate Uses
As an alternative to mortaring in Lead flashing and sheet into brick, stone
concrete & Metal.
When re-sealing lead make sure all old sealants are removed completely
and any green mould or moss is treated with Everbuild 404 Fungicidal Wash before pointing with Leadmate.
Weather sealing & joint sealing to pre-formed panels.
Sealing soft metals such as lead copper & zinc.
Parapet and roof weather sealing applications.
Suitable as an expansion joint sealant.
Limitations
Do not use in conjunction with bitumen asphalt, neoprene and certain organic elastomers.
Do not use on substrates that bleed oil, solvents or plasticisers.
Use Everbuild Weather mate Sealant if these are present.
