Dow Corning Dowsil Firestop 400 is an intumescent acrylic sealant for internal applications, developed to maintain the integrity of fire walls or partitions.

Dowsil Fire stop 400 does not emit halogenated by-products under fire conditions.

Resists mildew and mold growth and can be painted with emulsion for decoration.

main uses for internal perimeter pointing around door and window frames, and in joints formed where fire rated partition sections meet fire ceilings and walls

in integral house garages, in fact any area were services will pass through into another area.
