Sikaflex 298 Description:
This product is a viscous flexible polyurethane adhesive Ideally suited to bonding down:
Timber strip decking,
Deck planking,
Plastic deck coverings and panels.
Easy to spread and gives professional resultsevery time.
Permanently elastic giving a cushioning shocksabsorbing effect
Minimizes the transmission of impactsound.
Sikaflex 298 Marine Bedding Adhesive is aslightly thixotropic 1-c polyurethane adhesive and sealant which cures on exposure to atmospheric humidity.

Areas of Application:
Sika 298 is suitable for bonding deck covering materials made from synthetic resins.
For bedding in and sealing of teak plankdecking laid on top of the sub deck surface.
Suitable substrates include GRP Marine plywood Steel Aluminum sealed with an anti-corrosion coating epoxy or polyurethane-acrylic based and Stainless steel.
